The expansive 30,000-square-foot teeing area provides an exceptional setting for golfers to practice and perfect their game throughout the year. During the golf season, players enjoy hitting from lush zoysia grass, creating an authentic on-course experience. In the fall and winter months, 25 artificial turf hitting stations provide a comfortable and convenient way to continue practicing as conditions change. A comprehensive short-game practice area, complete with a practice bunker and expansive 5,000-square-foot putting green, gives golfers the opportunity to sharpen every aspect of their game. For golfers looking to elevate their game even further, Lake Quivira’s Golf Training Center combines professional instruction with advanced golf technology. Junior Golf Program
Lake Quivira’s Junior Golf Program is designed to introduce young golfers to the game while helping them build skills, confidence, friendships, and a lifelong love of golf. Welcoming juniors of all ages and ability levels, the program offers professional instruction, practice and play opportunities, and a variety of fun activities that encourage young players to learn and grow at their own pace. More than simply learning how to swing a club, Junior Golf helps participants develop an understanding and appreciation of the game, including sportsmanship, etiquette, and the traditions that make golf so special. Junior Member participants may sponsor one guest per person each season, giving them the opportunity to share the Lake Quivira golf experience with a friend. With a variety of programs and activities available throughout the season, there are plenty of ways for young golfers to get involved, improve their game, and—most importantly—have fun.
